Patient Notice

To allow patients better access to a GP we are making some changes to our appointment system from Monday 14th November for a trial period.

If you feel you need to see a doctor that day you will be offered a five minute ‘sit and wait’ appointment with the duty doctor. These duty sessions are not for an on going illness and you may not see your own GP.

Alternatively you can be contacted by the duty doctor who will ask you either to come into the Health Centre to see a GP or a Practice nurse or may resolve the issue over the telephone.

About Exwick Health Centre

This health centre caters principally for patients who are resident in Exwick.  It is a single-storey building and has easy access and full facilities for the disabled. 

Three doctors from the Partnership hold regular surgeries there. 

Our telephones are fitted with a Minicom System for the use of patients with impaired hearing who have such a system in their homes. 

Alternatively patients can fax requests for appointments on Exeter 676601.  Staff will fax back confirmed appointments.

Opening Times Exwick Health Centre

The surgery is closed between 12.30pm and 1.30pm on Fridays for staff training.

Extended Opening Hours are by pre-booked appointment only.
