Diabetes

At each Health Centre a Practice nurse with specialist diabetes qualifications is employed.

Our aim is to provide a service that encourages partnership in decision-making, supports you in managing your diabetes and helps you to adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Patients on our diabetic register are invited to attend clinics which are held at St Thomas and Exwick Health Centres.  A “drop in” clinic is held once a month at St Thomas where a specialist nurse will provide support and advice.
